OUR STORY
We started with a vision to revolutionize preclinical behavioural testing using cutting-edge technology. Based in Malmö, Sweden, our journey began by implementing advanced Machine Learning for pose estimation to accelerate biomedical research for the evaluation of novel therapeutical interventions. Our models and setup have been developed in the Behavioural Neuroscience Laboratory at Lund University where we collaborated with world leading experts in Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, Alzheimer's disease and Epilepsy. Employing AI to phenotype rodent behaviours has greatly helped to analyse disease progression in these models and the evaluation of therapies such as pharmacotherapy, cell replacement therapy and gene therapy.
Based on a 3D camera recordings our models are able to trace the movement vectors of key body points in mice or rats. We are able to generate basic behavioural readouts such as overall activity, rearings, rotations etc. Specialized modules can provide a disease specific readout, such as l-Dopa induced dyskinesia in Parkinson's disease or Epileptic seizures in Epilepsy. Should one model of your behavioural readout not be available in our current catalouge, our behaviour and machine learning experts will happily develop algorithms to suit your needs.

Our basic model is able to track rodents in 3D and provide detailed readouts of general behavioural states, such as distance traveled, rearings etc.
Additional modules are able to quantify disease states for neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's Disease or Epilepsy.
